Strawberry Linzer Cookies (Christmas Countdown 2017 #11)
Ok, so at first I was excited when I saw this one and determined that I was going to do it right. I went to Michaels and bought an actual Christmas Linzer cookie cutter. Then I started on the recipe. Clearly, I need a LOT more practice with linzer cookies. I don't think it would have been so bad if I didn't have to add the egg white and almond topping. They ended up a messy, but yummy version. Oh well. At least I'm prepared to keep trying in the future. I actually find them easier and more enjoyable to make than decorating sugar cookies. :)
